About the Accommodation

This vacation apartment was completely redesigned in 2021. The apartment is located in a traffic-calmed zone (30km/h) and is on the first floor. You have your own entrance and plenty of free parking space in the neighborhood.

From the entrance of the apartment you enter the spacious living room with kitchenette. The large dining table offers enough space to sit together, work on your laptop or play a board game in the evening. On the corner sofa you can relax and read a book or watch TV on the smart TV. Through your own account, you can continue to watch your favorite series on Netflix on the screen.

The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, a multi-function microwave, kettle, toaster, egg boiler and coffee maker (Senseo). There is no stove, but you can prepare food like i.e. pizza in the oven. Kitchen towels are provided. In addition to dishes, cups and glasses, we have also thought of the little vacationers with plastic dishes and cutlery. Coffee and tea are available to our guests free of charge.

The accommodation has 2 bedrooms. One of them is furnished with a double box-spring bed. The other bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed that can be pulled out into a double bed. All double beds are 1.60 m wide and there is a closet in both rooms. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The modern bathroom is fully equipped:WC, double sink with plenty of storage space, spacious walk-in rain shower and additional closet space await you. An illuminated mirror provides additional comfort, and there is also a high mirror. Hand soap and hair dryer are provided.

The vacation apartment can be booked for up to 6 people, taking into account the maximum load of the bunk bed (above max 75 kg).

Neighbourhood

The accommodation is located close to the center of Kaatsheuvel, near to the village square, in a 30 km zone. At the Anton Piekplein, as the village square is called, you will find two cozy restaurants and a pizzeria, all within less than 2 minutes walking distance. At the end of the village square begins the shopping street of Kaatsheuvel, with many different stores, restaurants and cafes.

In the village there is a large selection of supermarkets and bakeries - all within 1 km. The nearest supermarket (Lidl) and the closest bakery are less than 500 meters away.

The Efteling amusement park in Kaatsheuvel, one of the biggest attractions in the region, is less than 1.5 km away. In 20 minutes you can walk to the main entrance of the Efteling!

However, the surrounding area has more to offer than just an overnight stay near the Efteling, for example:

• Nature reserve Loonse en Drunense Duinen, a large sand and heath area nicknamed the "Sahara of Brabant". Ideal for walking, cycling as well as GPS tours, horseback riding and mountain biking. The nature reserve can be reached by bike (3.5 km) or by car (5 km) within 10 minutes!
• Adventure island 't Blauwe Meer (6.5 km); the beach at the lake is open with warm temperatures!
• Safaripark Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek (21 km) Children's park Pukkemuk (8 km)
• National Park De Biesbosch, the largest freshwater tidal area in Europe (25 km)
• Beautiful cities like 's Hertogenbosch, Breda, Tilburg, but also small authentic villages like the fortified town of Heusden
• Various museums, such as the Brabant Textile Museum and the Natural History Museum in Tilburg, the Noordbrabants Museum in 's Hertogenbosch, the Oertijdmuseum in Boxtel (prehistoric museum about dinosaurs, highly recommended with children!) and the Koningshoeven Brewery in Berkel Enschot.

So there is more than enough to do in the area!

Transport

Less than 200 m away is the bus stop "Berndijksestraat". From here you can easily hop on a bus to Tilburg (via the Efteling) or 's Hertogenbosch (via Waalwijk). Once an hour you can catch a bus that will take you to the Efteling within 6 minutes.
